Looking for a Denver based Internal Medicine practitioner? Advanced Integrative Medicine has the answer

Doctors of internal medicine, also called “internists”, are required to have included in their medical schooling and postgraduate training…at least three years dedicated to learning how to prevent, diagnose, and treat diseases that affect adults.

Internists are sometimes referred to as the “doctor’s doctor,” because they are often called upon to act as consultants to other physicians to help solve puzzling diagnostic problems. While the name “internal medicine” may lead one to believe that internists only treat “internal” problems, this is not the case. Doctors of internal medicine treat the whole person, not just internal organs.

What is different about our Internal Medicine Internist at Advanced Integrative Medicine?

Dr. Snook believes in using a combined treatment of traditional internal medicine with non-traditional medicine of a chiropractor, acupuncturist or massage therapist to treat what is ailing you.

Dr. Snook’s expertise includes the ability to promptly diagnose and treat most acute medical illness, as well as manage chronic medical problems such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia, asthma and diabetes.

In addition to performing routine laboratory testing and EKGs (electrocardiograms), at AIM, we also offer more sophisticated diagnostic studies such as: ultrasounds, spirometry and echocardiograms within the privacy and convenience of our office. After your testing has been completed, we will promptly notify you of your results and be happy to anwer any questions you may have regarding your overall health status.
