Meet Katie Young

Katie Young has been a Physician Associate, or PA, for over 20 years specializing in bioidentical hormone therapy, dermatology, weight loss, thyroid optimization, and integrative internal medicine. She has been a part of the Advanced Integrative Medicine team since 2012 and has helped carefully construct custom care plans for thousands of patients.

Most importantly, hormones are the core of Katie’s practice. She incorporates the field of hormone therapy with supplements and acupuncture treatments to carefully create an individualized and integrative plan of care for each patient.

Graduating with an undergraduate double major in pre-med and piano performance at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA, she then returned to her home state of Colorado. Katie attended the CHAPA program at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center at Anschutz and earned her Child Health Associate PA and master’s degree of science.

Other certifications of hers include acupuncture for musculoskeletal pain since 2012, EvexiPEL pellet services, and is one of the few Colorado providers certified through World Link Medical group in bioidentical hormone therapy. She ultimately enjoys combining her wide-ranging skill sets with her love of helping patients in her practice.

Outside of the healthcare workspace, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, hiking with her husky named Penny, and planning her next adventure around the world.
