Dennis Furr was born and raised in Southern California. He lived in Cardiff, CA and later moved to Riverside where he attended Loma Linda University. He majored in Psychology and Biology and graduated with a BA degree. Dr. Furr went on to Kansas City, MO where he attended Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and graduated from medical school after moving to Denver. Dr. Furr is board certified in Family Medicine.

Meet Dennis L. Furr
Dennis Furr was born and raised in Southern California. He lived in Cardiff, CA and later moved to Riverside where he attended Loma Linda University. He majored in Psychology and Biology and graduated with a BA degree. Dr. Furr went on to Kansas City, MO where he attended Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and graduated from medical school after moving to Denver. Dr. Furr is board certified in Family Medicine.
Dr. Furr has practiced medicine in Southeast Denver for over 30 years. His interests are not limited but include nutrition, sports medicine and lipid management.
Dr. Furr is involved in tissue Donation and he is a member of AATB. He enjoys adolescent medicine as well. His other interests include involvement with medical mission work here and abroad.
Dr Furr has two daughters. One is a Labor and Delivery nurse in Littleton and his youngest daughter is a Clinical Psychologist in Santa Barbara, CA. His family life keeps him quite busy and he enjoys activities in the mountains or on the beach when time allows. He enjoys jogging and has finished first place in numerous jogging events. These are when jogging alone, however!
